New Plymouth District Council - Senior Lifeguard
The Todd Energy Aquatic Centre is a thriving and fun-filled facility. As a permanent, full-time, Lifeguard you will provide supervision and customer service to all pool users, ensuring that their visit is not only fun but also safe.
We are looking for an experienced lifeguard to join the team to deliver a range of day-to-day operational activities along with poolside supervision. You will ensure a safe environment for all customers in addition to performing water chemical tests. The key to this role is your ability to communicate to all age groups across the community and have a positive, flexible approach to your work.
You will be required to have a current First Aid Certificate and a Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate and/or working towards National Certificate in Recreation and Sport - Core Skills or the ability to gain them prior to being appointed.
