ARPro assessment process
To achieve ARPro accreditation at any level, you’ll undergo assessments in two key areas to showcase your ability to professionally communicate relevant sector information.
- Oral communication
- Written communication.
Assessment guidelines by Level
Each Level has specific areas of focus for assessments, which are consistent across all Levels. The assessment scheduled used is the same at each level. Refer to the following schedules for detailed marking criteria:
Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | |
Taumata Kotahi | Taumata rua | Taumata toru | |
Oral communication | Contributing to an internal presentation | Presentation or major meeting facilitated within your organisation or to external stakeholders | Presentation at a sector related regional or national event, conference or webinar |
Written communication (1500 - 2000 words) | Internal paper/report | External paper/report | Sector thought-piece work written or published |
