Amanda’s career in recreation and leisure began in 1996, when she was a Park Ranger. Since then, she has progressed through various operational and local government roles, giving her a wealth of experience. 

Amanda is now Manager for Spaces and Places Project Outcomes at Tauranga City Council where she’s responsible for the city’s largest investment in community amenity in years. 

Her diverse project portfolio ranges from neighbourhood reserves to major community amenity investments, showcasing her extensive industry knowledge and understanding of various organisational perspectives.
