Bay Venues …. Haven’t heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – the iconic Mount Hot Pools, Baywave, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the Aquatic Training and Development Coordinator you will work alongside the Operation Manager and Venue Managers to Schedule and oversee the PLPC training to align with recruitment demands. This role’s purpose is to develop and coordinate a comprehensive aquatic-based training programme to ensure Aquatic staff have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their work duties effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

From facilitating inhouse classroom style theory-based sessions to poolside realistic scenario-based training, embedding the importance of effective pool supervision, emergency procedures and customer management that prepares our team for the array of scenarios that occur in our venues.

Creating confident, capable teams with a high performing culture to respond the best they can in any given situation, with an accompanying high level of job satisfaction. Company and industry compliance is extremely important, ensured through Coordinating and maintaining a comprehensive, accurate record of training for all aquatic staff.


What you’ll bring:

The successful candidate will be able to administrate, schedule and facilitate aquatic related training for new and existing lifeguards across our aquatic network, ensuring everyone is not only competent, but also continually developing in their roles professionally and personally.

You will be well versed in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn other administrative software with high attention to detail to meet deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident speaking to large groups and proven ability to retain a professional demeanour and think clearly under pressure.
