Parks Planning Masterclass - Regional Events

Recreation Aotearoa and Xyst have developed five Parks Planning Masterclasses. These full day classes are designed for both new and experienced parks planners, park managers, coordinators and anyone involved in the management and administration of reserves and open spaces.
The Masterclass will introduce participants to the intricacies of parks planning, including legal requirements under the Reserves Act 1977, parks planning tools, reserve classification and different approaches to reserve management planning. There will also be an opportunity to bring your parks planning questions along to be answered by our experts.
Classes will run from 10am until 4pm, in the following regions:
- 10 September 2024, Matamata
- 12 September 2024, Hutt City (TBC)
- 13 September 2024, Hastings
- 17 September 2024, Gore
- 19 September 2024, Christchurch (TBC)
Registration is $375 plus GST. Prices are for a full day in person class, including morning tea and lunch.
